At Ridgewood, Art & Design is an exciting and functional subject that provides opportunities for children to learn through their senses and gain an awareness of their surroundings by trial and testing a range of
creative materials.
Pupils are able to engage with new mediums and develop their imagination through the work of other Artists and Designers. They are taken on a creative journey that considers different environments, materials and values
across the world
Every pupil has the chance to research, experiment and develop their practical and theoretical skills about the materials and the world we live in and pupils are taught how to use new tools, techniques and mediums in order to create exciting artworks.
